Ariel Davis is an artist living and working in Fort Worth, Texas. Her work reflects on humanity, relationships, and time, in the form of stylized figurative paintings. In her work you can find the idea of relationships at the core, that play with symbolism in telling a story. In preparation of creating a painting, she employs the process of photography, collage, and digital manipulation to create a unique source image, or she works from life. Many times she will engage individuals in the community to collaborate with her as subjects in her work. Capturing and portraying the energy and mood of a scene, group or individual is more important then the details, which is defined by her loose style and use of bold color.

She earned her BFA from the University of Texas at Austin, where she studied under Melissa Miller and Dan Sutherland in painting. Primarily a painter and muralist, Davis has been a member of the Fort Worth Art Collective for ten years. Her most notable artistic contributions include: two large-scale paintings commissioned for Globe Life Field by the Texas Rangers Baseball Organization, one of the largest street murals in Texas for the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo 2022 (measuring approximately 600 feet in length), and in 2022 she was selected to create the official artist gift for Paul McCartney to commemorate his only performance in Texas.

Davis has exhibited across the state in Fort Worth, Dallas, Houston, Austin, Nacogdoches, Granbury, and Texarkana in over 35 exhibitions. She has co-organized over 100 art events and exhibitions in the DFW area over the past 4 years through her leadership with Art Tooth, Artspace111, and Artspace111 Consulting partnerships with other organizations.  In 2018 she was named Best Fort Worth Artist by Fort Worth Texas Magazine and was Fort Worthian of the month in Feb of 2020, In 2022 she was awarded 40 Under 40 by the Fort Worth Business Press.

This year, she opened her own gallery space in Sundance Square in Downtown Fort Worth called Love Texas Art and founded the Love Texas Art Studio, Artist in Residence Program.
